The Oak Hotel offers exceptionally good value for money 5 minutes walk from the subway station, which in 10 minutes takes you to the heart of Tokyo.

The hotel is set back from the main street, making it a nice refuge from the fast pace of Tokyo central. With no curfews, you can be sure to see and experience all the city has to offer first.

All rooms are air-conditioned and thoroughly cleaned, with en-suite bathrooms and featuring wireless internet. A kitchenette and washing machine are very usefully located in the communal area and an iron and ironing board are available.

The Oak Hotel lobby provides free, 24-hour internet for web and email access, and a Skype phone for chatting on-line. A huge plus is that the staff are not only very friendly and helpful, but also speak good English. This hotel is the perfect choice for a wide range of budget travellers.

Good value for money - small rooms but this is Tokyo; location is reasonable - Inaricho station on the Ginza line is very convenient, Ueno station is not a long walk, but I recommend changing to subway to Inaricho if you are coming from the airport with bags

I stayed as one person is a double room, the bed would have been a very tight fit for two people

上野駅から近くて便利だった。キッチンには電子レンジ、ＩＨ調理器、食器が揃っていて重宝した。部屋に湯沸しポットがあるのもよかった。
